"High speed" may have been a factor in deadly crash that kills two

Ridge Meadows RCMP and the BC Coroners Service are investigating after a collision between a motorcycle and light pickup truck killed two people, and snarled traffic for hours.

Investigators say a motorcycle travelling on the westbound side of the Lougheed Highway near Allen Way broadsided a small pickup around 2PM Saturday, instantly killing the drivers of both vehicles.
